Diem Nguyen began their work experience as a Programmer at Westlake Consulting in 1999. Diem then worked as a Software Developer at Magicon Software in 2003. From 2004 to 2007, they served as a Software Developer/Analyst at Weatherford, where they designed and developed an internal web-based application for the oil and gas industry. Following that, they joined Link Staffing Services in 2007 as a Software Developer, leading cross-functional teams and designing migration paths for on-premise applications. In 2020, Diem joined the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) as an SSRS/SQL Developer, responsible for report development and support. Diem later transitioned to the role of Developer and Data Engineering Team Lead, where they led a team to integrate ABS My Digital Fleet with various systems and provided technical leadership in advancing data engineering practices within the organization.
