James Bond

James Bond is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as the Director of Polar Research and Government Business Development at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since December 2017. Based in Ottawa, James liaises with the Canadian Government to align initiatives and leads polar research efforts in collaboration with Memorial University. Prior roles at ABS include Senior Technical Advisor in Advisory Services, where James developed and delivered technical solutions for a global client base, and Director of Project Management Organization, focusing on enhancing project management practices. James has also held leadership positions in shared technology and marine management, with previous experience as Project Manager in offshore engineering. James holds a BASc in Civil Engineering from the University of Waterloo and an MEng in Civil Engineering from Carleton University.
