Matthew Springstead

Matthew Springstead is a Senior Engineer at the American Bureau of Shipping (ABS) since July 2016, with a strong background in naval architecture and marine engineering. Previous roles include Engineer and participation in the Aspire Rotational Engineer program, where training encompassed core materials for surveying and engineering review. Prior internship experiences at ABS involved significant projects, such as gap analysis between ABS and DNV rule sets and reviewing computer models for Liquefied Natural Gas Terminals (LNGT). Matthew holds a Master's of Science in Engineering and a Bachelor's of Science in Engineering in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Michigan, complemented by foundational education at Brighton High School.
