Given Mabena

Given Mabena is an accomplished finance executive with extensive experience in financial advisory and banking. From June 2018 to July 2022, Given served as Chief Financial Officer for various divisions within Absa Group, including Everyday Banking, Unsecured Lending, and Absa Card and Acquiring. Prior to this, from November 2014 to May 2018, Given held the position of Finance Director for the Southern Africa subregion at Hilti Group. Earlier career roles included Head of Financial Operations and Controls at Absa Card and Senior Audit Manager at Deloitte. Given holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of the Witwatersrand and completed leadership training at Absa.
