Larry Intaka

Larry Intaka has extensive experience in database management and compliance, currently serving as an OSS AWS Database Engineer at Absa Group since November 2018. Prior to this, Larry held various positions at Barclays Africa Group Limited from April 2013, including roles in compliance and risk management as well as leading the Oracle Technical Team. Larry's earlier career includes significant experience as a Senior Oracle DBA and Systems Analyst at Investec from October 2008 to April 2013 and has worked at arivia.kom, Atos Origins, and Liberty Life Insurance Company in senior Oracle DBA roles. Larry's educational background includes ongoing studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an ITIL foundation in IT Service Management acquired from Bytes Technology for People in 2016.
