Angela Plater

Angela Plater, CISM, currently serves as the Senior Manager of Risk and Compliance at Absolute Software since April 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Security and Compliance Officer at Crawford & Company and edjuster Inc., as well as Director of Information Security at MindBridge Ai. Angela has also contributed to the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) as an Architect for the CyberTitan National Competition and has held consulting positions, including Security & Compliance Consultant at Nakisa. Angela's career began in financial analysis at Canadian Blood Services, progressing through various information security and compliance roles at Pythian and ICTC. Educational qualifications include a Certified Information Security Manager certification from ISACA, along with an extensive background in applied arts and technology from Algonquin College and Lambton College.
