Charles E. Christian Chcio

Charles E. Christian holds the positions of Vice President of Technology and Chief Technology Officer at Franciscan Health since April 2019. In addition to this role, Charles serves on multiple advisory boards, including Divurgent, HealthTrust Performance Group, Silk, Tausight, Fortinet, ELLKAY, and Hyland. Charles is also involved with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as a member of the HHS 405(b) Task Group. Charles earned an Associate of Science degree in Radiologic Technology from Gadsden Community College and attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham from 1979 to 1981. Charles is recognized as a leader in health technology, holding various distinguished titles such as CHCIO, CDH-E, LFCHIME, and LFHIMSS.
