Kamran Javid

Kamran Javid is currently a Quantitative Research & Development professional at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, specializing in signal generation since January 2023. Previously, Kamran served as an AI Researcher at Arabesque, focusing on machine learning-driven long/short equities funds from July 2019 to January 2023. Kamran's academic background includes a PhD in Cosmology & Statistics from the University of Cambridge, where research involved training deep Bayesian neural networks and developing new Monte Carlo sampling methods. Additionally, Kamran has held various quantitative research intern positions at Virtu Financial, KCG Holdings, and other financial institutions, as well as a part-time data scientist role at SMAP Energy, showcasing a strong foundation in algorithmic trading and machine learning applications in finance.
