Shabanah C. has extensive experience in finance and legal counsel, currently serving as the Deputy Head of Finance, Structuring and Execution for Europe at ADIA since April 2015, focusing on the Real Estate and Infrastructure Department. Prior roles include Legal Counsel at GE Capital, specializing in Structured Finance, Real Estate Finance, and Restructuring and Insolvency from May 2011 to February 2015, and at BNP Paribas, where responsibilities included Leveraged and Acquisition Finance, Corporate Banking, and more from October 2009 to April 2011. Shabanah also has experience as a Solicitor in the Banking and Finance Group at Mayer Brown International LLP and as a Legal Counsel on secondment with ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Educational qualifications include an LLB Hons in Law from the University of Nottingham and a Legal Practice Course from Nottingham Law School, alongside studies in Urdu at SOAS University of London.
