Siraj Patel has a diverse work experience in the field of technology and strategy. Siraj currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank, where they focus on driving the digital transformation of the bank and collaborating with fintechs to identify innovative opportunities. Prior to this, Siraj worked at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) as the SVP and Head of Strategy Functions and Cross Business Delivery Capabilities, where they were responsible for developing technology, digital, data, customer, and process strategies. Siraj also held the position of Head of Data, BI & Analytics at FAB. Siraj has also worked at Barclays as the Head of Business Intelligence Competency Centre and as a Technical Delivery Manager, where they managed various strategic and business-critical initiatives. Siraj started their career at Thomson Reuters as a Project Manager, overseeing multiple projects within the Search and Content Technology Group. Siraj's early work experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Siraj Patel completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science (HONS) from The University of Manchester, graduating with a first-class honors in 2003. Siraj also obtained additional certifications in project management (PMI PMP) from the Project Management Institute in June 2007, and ITIL certification from ITIL Certified in January 2006.
