Nurul H. Ansari

Nurul H. Ansari, PhD, is a Senior Scientist at Abzena since November 2020, specializing in the design and synthesis of Antibody Drug Conjugates (ADCs) and small molecules. With experience in multi-step organic synthesis and cross-functional collaboration, Nurul executes complex projects to meet client needs efficiently. Previously, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan, Nurul focused on developing novel cancer inhibitors and anti-aging compounds. During a tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant at West Virginia University, Nurul synthesized and characterized over 350 novel compounds, completing multiple total syntheses of complex natural products. Nurul has also held teaching positions at West Virginia University, Nepal Mega College, and the National Institute of Science and Technology, covering a range of chemistry subjects. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Organic Chemistry from West Virginia University, an MS from Tribhuvan University, and a BS in Chemistry from Tribhuvan University.
