Jonathan Beier

Jonathan Beier serves as the Associate Director of Research and Evaluation at the Acacia Center for Justice, focusing on the Unaccompanied Children Program. Previously, Jonathan held roles as a Policy Analyst and Associate Policy Analyst at the Migration Policy Institute, where research and policy analysis emphasized immigrant integration and human services. Jonathan's experience includes a Fellowship with the United States Senate, where work addressed immigration, human services, and civil rights. With a strong academic background, Jonathan was an Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Maryland, directing research on child development, and served as a Postdoctoral Scientist at the Max-Planck-Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology. Jonathan holds a PhD in Psychology from Harvard University and a BS in Symbolic Systems from Stanford University.
