Danielle DeSouza, MSc, PhD, currently serves as the Vice President of Research and Director of Research at Acacia Clinics, and holds the position of Clinical Scientist in Neurology at Stanford University. Danielle is also the Associate Program Director at the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) and has experience as a Scientific Consultant at ZAP Surgical Systems, Inc. and Percept Corporation. Previous roles include Clinical Scientist in Psychiatry at Winterlight Labs and Clinical Scientist/Instructor at Stanford University, along with a postdoctoral researcher in Neurology and Psychiatry. Danielle's academic background includes a PhD in Medical Science/Neuroscience, an MSc in Rehabilitation Science/Neuroscience, and a BSc (Honours) in Neuroscience & Psychology, all earned at the University of Toronto.
