Lourdes Livingston

Lourdes Livingston is an accomplished instructor at the Academy of Art University since August 2012, specializing in Clothed Figure Drawing, Fashion Drawing, and the History of 20th Century American Illustration while also designing online courses. In addition to teaching, Lourdes serves as the Online Director for the School of Illustration, focusing on promoting effective communication and empowering students in the online environment. As the founder of Lourdes Livingston | San Francisco, Lourdes consults startups on building efficient creative teams. Previous roles include Managing Editor for the Achenbach Graphic Arts Council at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco and Graduate Director for the School of Web Design and New Media at the Academy of Art University. Lourdes has also held significant positions at Women.com Networks as Creative Director and at the San Francisco Chronicle as an Editorial Illustrator. Educational background includes a BFA in Illustration from the Academy of Art University and attendance at the University of California, Berkeley.
