Colin Davis started their career as a Co-op Student Researcher at Spartan Bioscience in 2010. Colin then became a Co-op Student Researcher at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute in 2011, where they later became an Honours Student Researcher and a Master of Biochemistry specializing in Bioinformatics. During their time at the institute, Colin discovered and developed viral sensitizer drugs and also conducted research on controlling antiviral defenses. In 2015, Colin founded Insilicor Laboratory Management SaaS, a web-based laboratory management system. Since 2018, they have been working as a Full Stack Engineer at Acadium, an online marketplace providing students with training courses and digital apprenticeships.
Colin Davis completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Honours Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa, spanning from 2009 to 2013. Following this, they pursued a Master of Biochemistry with specialization in Bioinformatics, with a focus on Oncology and Cancer Biology, at the University of Ottawa, from 2013 to 2015.
