Brandon McGinnis has a range of experience in various roles within the sports industry. Brandon most recently served as the Director of Communications at the Atlantic Coast Conference starting in October 2022. Previously, they held the position of Director of Public Relations at the Big South Conference from January 2016 to September 2022. Before that, they worked as an Assistant Sports Information Director at Anderson University (SC) from June 2013 to December 2015. Brandon also worked as a Postgraduate Intern in Sports Information at Appalachian State University from June 2012 to May 2013, and as a Student Intern at the South Atlantic Conference from January 2012 to May 2012. In addition, they gained valuable experience as a Sports Information Student Assistant and later as a Field Experience Worker with New Media at Winthrop University from August 2010 to May 2012. Brandon'searliest work experience includes being a Marketing Student Assistant at Winthrop University from August 2008 to May 2010, where they played a role in seeking sponsorships, retaining commitments, and assisting the Marketing team within the Athletic Department.

Brandon McGinnis attended Winthrop University from 2008 to 2012, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sport Management.
