Mahendran Balachandran joined Accel in 2008.
Mahendran has been venture investing since 2005 bringing with him two decades of business leadership in technology companies, including Apple and Tektronix.
As a partner at Accel, he is responsible for investments in Behtar, Bayestree, Indifi, Portea, Probe, Power2SME, Sayre, Samunnati, USPL, Vinculum, and Zumutor.
Mahendran holds a management degree from IIM Bangalore and a B.Tech degree from NITW.
