Elaine Hegwood Bowen

Elaine Hegwood Bowen is an accomplished media relations specialist with extensive experience in journalism and communications. Since April 2004, Elaine has been serving as a Media Relations Specialist at Access Community Health Network. Prior to this role, Elaine spent two decades at the Chicago Crusader Newspaper from 1994 to 2014, contributing as an Editor, Writer, and Film Critic. Additionally, Elaine held a communications position at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology from 1998 to 2000. Elaine holds a Master of Science in Journalism from Roosevelt University, which was earned between 1994 and 1996.
