Kayla D.

Kayla D. began their work experience in 2012 as a Server at Olive Garden, where they provided service to guests, demonstrated menu knowledge, and carried heavy trays. In the same year, they also worked as an Office Assistant at Sodexo, where they updated computer systems and created consistent product lists. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as a Customer Service Representative at Houston Wire & Cable Company, offering support to account managers and assisting customers. Kayla then took on the role of a Human Resources Representative at the same company from August to November 2014, performing various administrative duties. In November 2014, they transitioned to an Executive Secretary role, where they supported executive staff and assisted with investor relations tasks. In 2016, Kayla was promoted to Investor Relations Coordinator & Assistant to the CEO, providing administrative support and coordinating board meetings and investor conferences. Kayla worked in this position until June 2021. Currently, they are employed as a Marketing Associate at SinguLab®, where they support sales and executive teams through event coordination, graphic design, and social media management.

Kayla D. began their education in 2011 at the University of Houston, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Business Management. Kayla left the University of Houston after one year and transferred to San Jacinto Community College, where they obtained an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and Management in 2013. Following their time at San Jacinto, Kayla enrolled at the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management in 2015.

In addition to their formal education, Kayla has obtained several certifications. In 2015, they received a Certificate of Attendance in Basic Mediation Training from the University of Houston-Clear Lake. In 2016, they achieved an intermediate level of fluency in Spanish through Duolingo. In 2017, they completed a TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) course from UNI-Prep Corporation. Most recently, in 2021, Kayla obtained a Digital Marketing Foundations certification from LinkedIn.
