Matheus Souza

Matheus Souza has a diverse work experience in the finance and auditing industry. Matheus currently serves as a Senior Onboarding Consultant at Accountfy since September 2022. Prior to that, Matheus worked at KPMG Brasil, where they held the positions of Audit Senior from October 2021 to September 2022 and Audit Assistant from January 2021 to October 2021. Before joining KPMG Brasil, Matheus gained experience at BDO Brazil as an Audit Assistant from October 2020 to January 2021 and as a Trainee Auditor from August 2019 to October 2020. Matheus started their professional journey as an Intern at Ace Assessoria Empresarial from October 2018 to July 2019.

Matheus Souza attended Universidade Federal de Pernambuco from 2017 to 2020, where they obtained a Bacharelado degree in Contabilidade (Accounting). In addition to their degree, Matheus Souza also obtained two certifications. In July 2021, they received the CRC (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade PE) certification from CFC (Conselho Federal de Contabilidade). Matheus later obtained the Cadastro Nacional de Auditores Independentes - CNAI QTG certification from CFC in December 2022.
