Doug Bourne

Doug Bourne has extensive work experience in the field of mechanical engineering. Doug began their career at Finelite in 2003 as a Mechanical Engineer and worked there until 2006. Doug then joined NeoGuide Systems as a Mechanical Engineer from July 2006 to December 2007. After that, they worked at Corium International as a Senior Engineer from January 2008 to November 2012. Doug then moved to Avinger Inc. (Acquired Sawooth Labs) as a Senior Engineer from November 2012 to December 2013. Since February 2014, Doug has been associated with Accuray where they initially served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer until December 2018. From December 2018 onwards, they have taken on the role of Group Lead - Mechanical Engineering, providing functional and managerial leadership to the California-based mechanical team while driving process improvements and leading design efforts.

Doug Bourne completed their education at Stanford University from 1999 to 2003, earning both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to attending Stanford, they attended the American School of Paris from 1996 to 1999. Doug also attended Bonn American High School from 1994 to 1996.
