Emmanuel Dormon is a senior director at ACDI/VOCA. He has 25 years of experience working as an agricultural economist on several projects. His work focuses on agricultural productivity, innovation, monitoring and evaluation, and promoting agribusinesses through value chain strengthening and public-private partnerships aimed at increasing competitiveness. Prior to this role, Emmanuel served as chief of party of the Feed the Future Ghana Agricultural Development and Value Chain Enhancement Project, funded by USAID, from 2015 to 2019, during which time he also served as an ACDI/VOCA country representative in Ghana. He holds a BS in agriculture from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana) as well as an MS and PhD from the Wageningen University and Research Centre (Netherlands) with specialization in policy and socioeconomic innovations benefitting smallholder farmers. Emmanuel holds certificates in monitoring and evaluation and database development from the University of East Anglia, Norwich (United Kingdom).
