Sultan Aziz KAROKHAIL is an experienced professional in program management and development, currently serving as the Head of Program at ACDO since January 2024. Previously, Sultan held the position of Consortium Manager at REACH Initiative and served as the Head of Programme at Muslim Hands, where responsibilities included leading thematic teams and ensuring strategic alignment with stakeholders. Sultan has also contributed as a board member for multiple NGOs and provided consultancy for WeWorld Onlus. With a Bachelor of Engineering from Balochistan University and various diplomas in Project Management and Computer Sciences, Sultan has a strong educational foundation complemented by extensive experience in program execution, stakeholder engagement, and strategic partnership management across multiple organizations in Afghanistan.

ACDO - Asia Community Development Organization
Asia Community Development Organization (ACDO) is an Afghan non-governmental, non-political, and non-profit humanitarian organization established in 2014 and registered with the Government of Afghanistan under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy (MoEc) with a mission to provide humanitarian and development assistance to the vulnerable, at-risk, and underserved people throughout the country. ACDO responds to the needs of disadvantaged and marginalized rural and urban communities by managing and utilizing the available scarce resources in a well-managed, efficient, transparent, and dignified manner to enhance resilience, boost access to education, ensure food and livelihood security, and promote social protection and inclusion. ACDO has an active presence in at least nine provinces in five regions of the country and intends to expand its operations to the remaining provinces as well, as to transform itself into a leading and developed organization that will deliver to and supports a significant number of people who have been affected by the long-protracted and sudden on-set emergencies in Afghanistan. Regardless of the most challenging circumstances in Afghanistan in 2022 and 2021, ACDO has managed to deliver humanitarian and development assistance in most part of the country.
