Sheri L. Rowen

Sheri L. Rowen, MD, FACS , is a board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in LASIK, new advances in refractive surgery, cataract surgery, and cosmetic dermatology. She is the Director of the Mercy Medical Center for Eye and Cosmetic Surgery and also serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine and a Clinical Instructor at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Dr. Rowen has served as an investigator for several FDA studies related to implantable contact lenses. She is the author of numerous papers related to intraocular lenses and cataract surgery and has provided lectures nationally and internationally on cataract surgery, intraocular lenses and cosmetic eye surgery. Dr. Rowen is a board member of the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons.
