Richard Lewis-Shell currently serves as the Head of IT Strategy and Architecture at MLC Life Insurance, a position held since January 2022. With extensive experience in digital and technology roles, Richard has been the Chief Rainspotter at Super Duper Uper since 2010, focusing on mobile product development. Prior to MLC Life Insurance, Richard held senior positions at ME Bank, including General Manager - Digital, and was instrumental in various engineering and digital workforce initiatives. Richard's career also includes significant roles at Australia Post, where key positions spanned from Chief Engineer to Innovation Business Lead. As a co-founder of VoteAbout, Richard contributed to the company's establishment and development. Richard began their professional journey at AIA Australia, where roles evolved from Senior Software Engineer to Development Manager, leading architecture and technology strategy. Richard holds a BSc(Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Otago.
