Joshua Herzog has a diverse work experience history. Joshua began their career as a Judicial Extern for Judge Virginia Kendall at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2012. Joshua then worked as an Intern at the Chicago Environmental Law Clinic in 2014 and as a Law Clerk at Chicago Public Schools from 2013 to 2014. In 2015, they joined Hauser Izzo, LLC as an Associate and later became an Attorney at an undisclosed company in 2016. In 2017, Herzog became an Assistant General Counsel at Acero Schools, where they worked until 2020. Joshua then served as Interim General Counsel and Deputy General Counsel at Acero Schools. Additionally, Herzog has experience in education, including roles as a Guidance Counselor and Head Boys Indoor Track and Field Coach at North Andover High School, Director of Summer School at North Andover Public Schools, and Head Girls Outdoor Track and Field Coach at Lexington High School.
Joshua Herzog earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Biology from Illinois Wesleyan University from 1997 to 2001. Following that, they pursued a Master of Education (MEd) in School Counseling at Boston University from 2002 to 2003. Finally, they attended Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a J.D. degree in Law.
