Shuang Wu began their professional career in 2012 as an Immunologist at UCSF. In 2015, they joined Achaogen as a Scientist and Senior Research Associate II. At Achaogen, their focus was on therapeutic antibody discovery, including mouse or human Single B cell cloning, antibody repertoire analysis, recombinant mAb expression, and mAb specificity/function testing.

Shuang Wu completed a Bachelor's Degree in life science at Nankai University from 2001 to 2005. shuang then went on to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at the Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences from 2005 to 2012.
