Daniel Anderson

Daniel Anderson is a highly skilled electrical engineer with extensive experience in hardware and FPGA design. Currently serving as a Staff Hardware Engineer at Achronix Semiconductor Corporation since 2023, Daniel previously held various leadership roles at Velodyne Lidar, Inc. from 2017 to 2021, including FPGA Engineering Manager and Principal FPGA Design Engineer, where coordination of teams to develop the Velarray product was a key responsibility. Earlier in the career, Daniel was a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Sandia National Laboratories from 2011 to 2016, leading an FPGA firmware design team and contributing to various telemetry systems projects. Daniel also undertook an internship at Sandia National Laboratories in 2010. Daniel holds both a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, specializing in Computer Architecture and Embedded Systems Design from the University of Southern California.
