David Huynh

David Huynh serves as the VP of Information Security at Acima since July 2018, overseeing all aspects of information security and data privacy. Previously, David held the role of Sr. Director of Information Security and Data Privacy at Acima, where a comprehensive information security program was designed and implemented for a rapidly growing fintech company. Prior experience includes serving as IT Security, Risk and Compliance Manager at Progressive Leasing, where enterprise cybersecurity risks were significantly reduced, and as Information Security & Assurance Manager at a global nonprofit, contributing to enhanced cybersecurity practices. David's career began with positions focusing on HIPAA and PCI compliance, alongside roles in internal auditing at Brigham Young University Hawaii. David holds an M.B.A. from the University of Utah and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems from Brigham Young University–Hawaii.
