Ryan Kushner

Ryan Kushner currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Aclima, Inc. since February 2025 and is a faculty member focused on Energy and Environment at Singularity University, teaching various courses related to renewable energy and climate science since April 2019. As an author, Ryan published "Accelerate This!" in November 2018, exploring the role of startup accelerators in clean energy entrepreneurship, with endorsements from prominent organizations. Co-founding Third Derivative, a capital and corporate-integrated accelerator aimed at advancing climate innovation, Ryan has supported numerous climate tech startups in their fundraising efforts. Additional involvement includes roles at Clean Energy For Biden, Big Idea Ventures, Toniic, SXSW Advisory Board, and mentoring for various accelerator programs. Ryan holds an MBA in Sustainable Management from Presidio Graduate School and has attended Harvard T.H. Chan School for Executive Education in Sustainability Leadership.
