Matthew Segal is currently a Professor of the Practice at Tufts University and a Senior Staff Attorney at the ACLU. Before their current roles, Matthew served as a Visiting Lecturer in Law at Yale Law School and as the Legal Director at the ACLU Foundation of Massachusetts. Prior to that, Matthew was an Assistant Federal Defender at the Federal Defenders of Western North Carolina, Inc. Matthew earned their JD from Yale Law School and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Sociology from Brandeis University.
