Rebecca Cairns is an experienced professional in gift planning and nonprofit management, currently serving as the Deputy Director of Gift Planning at the ACLU since February 2017. Prior to this role, Rebecca worked as a consultant for the Aspen Leadership Group and held various positions at National Geographic, including Manager of Bequest and Trust Administration and Interim Director of Planned Giving. Rebecca's early career includes experience as a Gift Planning Project Specialist at NPR and as an Administrator for Perioperative Services at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Educationally, Rebecca holds a Master of Arts in Political Science and Government from The Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from The George Washington University.
