Joseph Mele

Joseph Mele is a seasoned professional in the investment and hospitality sectors, currently serving as Managing Director and Co-Founder of Santiago Ventures since July 2024, focusing on various transaction types including leveraged buyouts and growth capital, with equity checks ranging from $4 million to over $30 million. Mele is also a Managing Partner at Atomix Ventures and has held roles as an angel investor for companies such as Acorns and Daily Harvest. Prior experience includes managing director positions at Vargas Family Office and directorial roles with The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Kimpton Ink48 Hotel, Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group, and Hilton New York Fashion District. Joseph Mele holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Columbia University, obtained between 2000 and 2004.
