Damon Fairfield is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in education, research, and agile project management. Currently serving as Scrum Master II at ACT since September 2009, Damon leads agile teams in the Measurement, Research, and Development department, facilitating various team meetings and overseeing project delivery and capacity planning. Damon has held multiple roles at ACT, including Senior Content Specialist, where responsibilities encompassed product management for ACT features and leadership in the Science section of both national and international testing programs. Prior experience includes a postdoctoral research fellowship at the University of Iowa, where Damon received NIH funding for innovative research in cellular and molecular biology, as well as instructional roles at both the University of Iowa and the University of Michigan. Damon holds an MBA and various leadership and investment management certificates from the University of Iowa, along with a PhD from the University of Michigan and a BS from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
