Oleg Paikin

Oleg Paikin has extensive experience in software development for communication systems. Oleg started their career at Telrad Networks in 1994 as a Software Engineer, where they worked on developing software for communication systems based on SONET and SDH standards. Oleg utilized programming languages such as C, C++, and Assembler and worked with processors such as Motorola 68302, 68360, PPC860, and PPC8260.

In 2001, Oleg joined Actelis Networks as a Senior Software Engineer. There, they developed software for communication systems based on the EFM standard, specifically focusing on transmitting Ethernet/DS1/DS3 over bonded copper pairs. Oleg worked with Motorola PowerQuick, PowerQuick II, and PowerQuick II Pro processors.

Within Actelis Networks, Oleg progressively advanced their role and became a Software Architect & System Engineer, responsible for writing system specification documents and developing software for communication systems. Oleg worked with various communication technologies such as SHDSL, VDSL2, ADSL2+, and ADSL2, as well as Marvell and Broadcom switches.

Overall, Oleg Paikin has nearly three decades of experience in the software development field, specializing in communication systems and utilizing a range of programming languages and processors.

Oleg Paikin obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Applied Mathematics from Belarusian State University, completing their studies from 1987 to 1993.
