James Stanish

James Stanish serves as a Development Manager at Activate since June 2023, previously holding the same position at Hester Street. At Hester Street, Stanish co-led fundraising initiatives and secured diverse awards from various philanthropic and governmental sources. Stanish has a background in grants and development, demonstrated through roles at the Police Athletic League as a Grants Associate and as a Government Relations Fellow at the U.S. Soccer Foundation, where multimillion dollar federal grants were achieved. Stanish's experience also includes positions at the Environmental and Energy Study Institute, Refugees International, and Spring International, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The George Washington University and study at The University of Edinburgh.
