Laron Burrows

Laron Burrows is currently an Activate Fellow at Activate, where the focus is on empowering scientists and engineers to launch startups addressing climate change. As Founder and CEO of Andros Innovations, Laron is developing an innovative ammonia production reactor that aims to replace the traditional Haber-Bosch process. Laron's academic journey includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering from the University of Connecticut, alongside an MBA in International Business. Previous experience includes serving as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Connecticut, a Site Reliability Engineer and Continuous Improvement Engineer at DTE Energy, and a Student Researcher at Kettering University. Laron has a solid foundation in chemical engineering and project management, with proven expertise in research and process optimization.
