Clement Proux has a significant work experience in the field of molecular biology and biotechnology. Clement started their career as a Trainee in analytical biochemistry at the Centre national de la recherche scientifique in 2007. Later, in 2009, they worked as a Trainee in Virology at Fondation Mérieux. In 2010, they joined Sanofi Pasteur as a Molecular Biology Scientist, specializing in Global Clinical Immunology. After that, they moved to Illumina in 2012 as a Technical Applications Scientist, where they were responsible for technical trouble-shooting and support for EMEA accounts, particularly in France. Finally, since 2013, they have been working at Active Motif as the Key Account Manager for Epigenetic Services, Products & Instruments, focusing on the markets of France and Switzerland.
Clement Proux completed their education in a chronological order. In 2001-2002, they attended St Exupéry High School where they obtained their Scientific baccalaureate with a focus on Life Sciences. Following that, from 2004 to 2007, they pursued their Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry at La Rochelle Université. Clement then proceeded to Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1 where they earned their Master's Degree in Genetic, cell biology, and infectious diseases spanning from 2007 to 2009. Finally, in 2009-2010, Clement attended Université catholique de Lyon for professionalization education in the Biotechnology field, obtaining a degree called ESSEP5.
