Darko Stojchev

Darko Stojchev has extensive experience in the IT industry, with a background in various technical positions. Darko began their career as a Jr. Systems Administrator at Nextsense in 2006. From 2008 to 2015, they worked at EOS Matrix, where they progressed through multiple technical roles before becoming the Chief Technology Officer. During this time, they were responsible for server administration, database administration, networking, supporting a Java software development team, virtualization, backups, disaster recovery, and security hardening. In 2011, Darko joined Inbox - Archive and Data Center, where they set up the technology stack and provided mentoring and guidance for the IT team. Additionally, they were involved in business development for data backup services and ISO/IEC 27001 certification. Since 2015, Darko has been the Head of Global IT at ActiveVideo, overseeing IT operations in multiple offices and leading the consolidation of datacenter operations.

Darko Stojchev completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Informatics (Software Engineering) at EURM Skopje from 2003 to 2007. Darko also holds several additional certifications, including Information Security Manager - ISO 27001 and Internal Auditor - ISO 20000 from the ISO International Organization for Standardization. Darko is also a Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE).
