Wei Wu

Wei Wu is a highly skilled chemist with extensive experience in synthetic chemistry and product development, currently serving as a Senior Scientist I at Actylis since November 2023. Prior to this role, Wei held the position of Senior Synthetic Chemist I at Cascade Chemistry, contributing to the synthesis and purification of organic materials and leading scale-up productions. Wei's expertise includes designing multi-step synthesis, developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and operating laboratory analytical instruments, supported by a robust academic background with a PhD in Chemistry from Binghamton University. Early career experiences include internships at Crysta-Lyn Chemical Company, Inc., and ChromaNanoTech, focusing on the synthesis of organic dye absorbers and nanomaterials, alongside mentoring undergraduate students as a teaching assistant.
