Scott Wellnitz

Scott Wellnitz is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in various technical roles. Currently serving as a Senior IT Manager at Acuity Brands since March 2019, Scott has previously held multiple positions at Cisco Systems from 1998 to March 2019, including Member of Technical Staff, Sr. Systems Administrator, and Systems Administrator. Earlier in the career, Scott worked at Sun Microsystems as an SSE, and held the title of Systems Administrator at Fujitsu Network Switching and Piedmont Technology Group. Scott holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Psychology from Clemson University, earned between 1988 and 1993.
