Shonaka Ranatunga

Shonaka Ranatunga is an accomplished finance and marketing professional with extensive experience in the banking and financial services sector. Currently serving as Associate Director in Financial Marketing Services at Acuity Knowledge Partners since May 2023, Shonaka previously held roles including Assistant Director in the same department. Shonaka is also the Director of Finance and Administration at MeshGround (Guarantee) Limited since 2020 and the Founder/Event Coordinator at Cirque Curated Events since July 2018. Prior experience includes managerial positions at HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank, along with earlier roles at Acuity Knowledge Partners, Lloyds Banking Group, Budgens, and Citi. Shonaka holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Colombo and a BSc (Honours) in Economics and Management Studies from the University of Sussex.
