Alex Vernik

Alex Vernik has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Starting in 2006, Alex worked for the Israel Defense Forces - Military Intelligence as an R&D Team Leader and later as a Group Architect. In 2010, Alex joined Microsoft as a Principal Development Manager. In 2013, Alex joined IBM, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Team Lead, Senior Software Engineering Manager, and Director of Engineering. Currently, Alex is working at Acumen.io as a Software Delivery Advocate, starting in August 2021.

Alex Vernik attended The Hebrew University of Jerusalem from 2003 to 2005, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Physics, Math, and Computer Science. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) from 2007 to 2011 at the same institution, specializing in Computer Science. Alex attained the degree with honors, graduating cum laude.
