Nicholas Wichowski has a diverse work experience in engineering and development roles. Nicholas started at Acutronic USA in 1999 as the Standard Systems Group Leader, leading to a later role as Head of Engineering & Development Unit in 2012. Nicholas also worked as a Consultant in Electrical and Systems Engineering at Acutronic USA and as a Systems Engineer at L-3 Communications. Additionally, they served as a Research & Development Engineer IV at Penn State University, where they performed research and development on sensor technologies for the U.S. Warfighter.

Nicholas Wichowski completed a B.S. in Criminal Justice from The University of Toledo in 1992. Nicholas then pursued a B.S. in Electro-Mechanical Engineering at Penn State University from 1997 to 1999. After that, they completed a Master's in Forensic Science at The George Washington University in 1993. Nicholas also engaged in Graduate Studies in Criminology at Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1993 to 1996, working towards a Ph.D. but did not graduate. In 2002-2003, they took graduate-level courses in advanced control systems at Southern Methodist University.
