Johan held multiple roles at Shell, including General Manager of the Digital Center of Excellence - Emerging Technologies. In this position, they were responsible for the development and management of the OSDU Data Platform and the Open Footprint Data Platform. Johan also served as the IT CTO (VP IT Innovation) at Shell, providing advice to the Group CIO and working with various cloud and platform technologies. Prior to that, they held the roles of IT CTO & VP TaCIT Architecture and Group IT Architect at Shell. Johan's tenure at Shell lasted from 2005 to 2021.
