Tom Fusillo is an experienced engineering manager with a focus on machine learning and data science. Currently serving as Engineering Manager for Machine Learning at ACV Auctions since October 2021, Tom leads teams in vehicle pricing, document processing, and recommendation services. Prior roles include Team Lead and Senior Machine Learning Engineer at ACV Auctions, where Tom developed vehicle pricing models. Previous experience encompasses positions as Research Scientist at Assured Information Security, where Tom researched novel machine learning techniques, and Treasury Quantitative Lead at M&T Bank, developing models for predicting credit losses. Tom's early career includes software engineering roles at TROVE and CUBRC, working on API development and service-oriented architectures. Tom holds an MS in Computer Science and Engineering from the University at Buffalo and a BS in Computer Information Systems from Buffalo State University.
