Jalil Boukaaba

Jalil Boukaaba, MBA, currently serves as the COO - Operations CSP Director at ACWA Power for the NOOR Complex in Ouarzazate since September 2023. Prior to this role, Jalil held several leadership positions, including Plant General Manager at NOMAC overseeing the CSP Thermosolar plant within the NOOR Complex from August 2015 to August 2023, and Production Operations Manager at TAQA Morocco managing coal-fired power plants from May 2011 to July 2015. Jalil's career began at Abengoa (Abener Energie) as an I&C lead engineer and commissioning manager, followed by a role as an electrical and instrument senior engineer at Veolia Water. The professional journey started as a DCS engineer at Emerson Process Management. Educational qualifications include a Graduate Executive MBA from MBS School of Business and a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Ecole nationale superieure d'électricité et de mécanique ENSEM Casablanca. Currently, Jalil is pursuing a Certificate in General Business Management at IMD Business School in Switzerland.
