Niranjan Patil's work experience includes serving as the Managing Director at Adagrad AI from December 2018 onwards. In this role, they were responsible for designing computer vision products with hardware acceleration for major clients. Niranjan also worked at STES'S Stallion Motorsport Electric as the Driverless Design Lead from June 2018 to June 2019, where they designed a fully autonomous driving vehicle and developed tools for training and testing optimization models. Prior to that, they worked as the Powertrain Lead at Stallion Motorsport from June 2017 to July 2018.
Niranjan Patil holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Prior to pursuing their Master's, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University, graduating in 2019. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in Practical Engine Building, Practical Standalone tuning, and Understanding AFR from the High Performance Academy Ltd, with the certifications obtained in various months of 2018.

Our story began in 2018 when some of us were still in college. While solving some of the world’s most complex design problems during undergrad like self-driving cars and representing India at Hockenheimring, we realized the potential of AI. We went on to quit our jobs at some of the best AI labs in the world like Microsoft Research & Dev, Georgia Tech, and more to do the most meaningful work of our lives. Today, our algorithms run on thousands of cameras across the world empowering organizations to do more harnessing the true capacity of Artificial Intelligence. Our mission is to push the frontiers of what’s possible using Artificial Intelligence using exceptional techniques in GPU programming, Deep Learning, and Mathematics. The name "adagrad" comes from a mathematical optimizer that fundamentally changed the paradigm of Deep Learning introducing adaptive gradients, similar to how we envision changing how industries function through the use of AI.
