Jakir Manela's work experience starts in 2006 when they became the Founding Director of Kayam Farm at Pearlstone. Jakir held this position until 2012. In 2012, Jakir Manela became the Chief Executive Officer of Pearlstone Retreat Center & Event Campus. Jakir then transitioned to the role of Chief Executive Officer at Adamah, Inc. in 2021, where they are currently employed.
Jakir Manela obtained a Nonprofit Management Executive Certificate from Georgetown University in 2012. Prior to that, they pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison from 2000 to 2004. Jakir earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with a focus on Hebrew Language and Literature, Jewish Studies, and International Studies (Global Environment).
