Steven Montag

Steven Montag is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in accounting and financial management. Currently serving as Principal and Corporate Controller at Adams Street Partners since November 2014, Steven oversees the accounting activities related to the management company and employee funds, including financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, and audit coordination. Prior to this role, Steven worked as a Senior Financial Accountant at Golub Capital and held positions at KPMG as both a Senior Associate and Associate. Steven holds a Master of Accountancy (MAS) from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Accountancy (BA) from the same institution, complemented by a foundational education at Marist High School.
